We're Cleaning Up Our Oceans and Planting Trees!

Dear Jake’s Fans.  I’m so excited to share with you a new collaboration with an organization committed to keeping our planet healthier too!  Woohoo!  Starting today, your purchase of Jake’s will lead to the removal of ocean bound plastic and the planting of trees! 

First, we’re contributing a percentage of each sale of Jake’s towards plastic removal within 50 km of the ocean or ocean bound waterway. This reduces plastic pollution and the plastic collected by the community is exchanged for social and financial benefits helping alleviate poverty.  We’ve doing this in collaboration with GoodAPI (Sprout) and Plastic Ban.

Similarly, we’re also on a tree planting program to improve our air quality, and make our world more beautiful to explore for future generations.  Your purchase helps plant more trees, and if you’d like to add little extra to the kitty, all those funds will go directly to Sprout to support their efforts!  

Sprout collaborates with environmental organizations to facilitate tree planting and plastic removal initiatives. Through partnerships with entities like Eden Reforestation Projects, Sprout channels funds to plant trees in areas such as Madagascar, aiming to restore natural habitats and combat climate change. Additionally, Sprout works with Plastic Bank to remove ocean-bound plastic, thereby reducing pollution and supporting community development.
