Is Jake’s StrongGinger Ginger Juice an alcohol product?
No. It has no alcohol in it. Just Peruvian organic ginger and lemons.
Is ginger juice better than ginger shots?
It depends upon whether you're drinking a conventional cold-pressed ginger shot or a shot of steeped ginger juice. Cold-pressed shots are more harsh than steeped ginger juice shots. The steeping process releases and activates gingerol, the active ingredient in ginger. A steeped shot of ginger juice will give you a smoother, higher efficacy experience than a conventional cold-pressed ginger shot.
Is ginger juice better cold or warm?
It's really a matter of preference. Both are just as remedially effective when served straight up. Summer cocktails and mocktails are typically served on ice for refreshment. Winter cocktails and mocktails are typically served hot for a more cozy and relaxing experience.
How do I cancel my Jake's subscription?
You can revise, pause or cancel your subscription in your own Jake's subscription portal. The address is sent to you upon subscription signup. How long does Jake’s StrongGinger Ginger Juice last?
It lasts at least one year if unopened. After opening, it should be refrigerated and consumed within a month for the best health benefits.
How much Jake's Ginger Juice should I drink each day?
We recommend 8-12 oz per day. It can be consumed straight like a shot, mixed in your water bottle, or used in cocktails and mocktails for flavoring.
Is organic ginger juice worth it?
Yes! Organic ginger juice is free of unnatural fertilizers and pesticides most of which are common health hazards. Products made with USDA ingredients and free of unnecessary additives will always be your safest bet.
Can children drink it?
Yes. My grandchildren started drinking Jake's steeped organic ginger juice before turning two years old, and can easily drink 4 ounces daily. They wince a bit, smile and immediately ask for more. It is a much healthier substitute for many of the sugary fruit drinks commonly served to children.
Can I freeze it?
Yes, but do not freeze it while it is in its glass container. Instead, pour it into an ice cube tray and make ice cubes to put in your favorite cocktails and mocktails for a little extra zip. A few ginger juice ice cubes can make a great sugarless ginger ale when mixed into sparkling water.
Can ginger help digestion?
Yes. According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, ginger's active compounds, like gingerols, stimulate digestive enzymes and improve gastric motility—the rate at which food empties from your stomach. This acceleration helps reduce bloating, gas, and discomfort after meal
Why do some ginger juices separate?
Most ginger juices separate, because they are not steeped and they also contain citric acid. This causes the ginger to precipitate out of solution and settle on the bottom of the bottle. Jake's has far less separation because it is steeped with ground ginger and whole lemons. In addition to creating high efficacy beverage, the Jake's steeping process helps keep both the ginger and lemon suspended in solution and the absence of citric acid prevents both the lemon and ginger from precipitating out of solution.
What does the number of the bottom of the bottle mean?
This is the Julian date which is the day the product was crafted. If unopened, Jake's will keep its freshness for up to a year. Once opened, we recommend you refrigerate and consumer within 2 weeks.
