The story behind the name
A legacy worth carrying forward
Jake's StrongGinger was inspired by Frank "Jake" Jacobson, whose adventurous spirit, kindness, and appreciation for nature continue to influence everything we do.
Growing up on a Wisconsin farm during the Great Depression, Jake believed that simple living, hard work, and caring for others were among life's greatest treasures. His travels around the world introduced him to the remarkable qualities of ginger and helped inspire the company that proudly bears his name today.
His story reminds us that some of the greatest adventures begin with helping others.
Many ginger beverages are made by pressing juice from ginger or adding concentrates, artificial flavors, preservatives, or citric acid.
We take a different approach.
Our organic Peruvian ginger and whole organic lemons—including the peels—are carefully ground, blended, and steeped to extract the rich flavors and beneficial natural oils found throughout the entire ingredient.
