Homemade Ginger Salad Dressing Recipe with Jake's StrongGinger

Some of my favorite recipes are the simplest ones.

This ginger salad dressing recipe is one of them.

It's fresh, flavorful, and made with ingredients that work beautifully together. I can't take much credit for it. The truth is, God created the ingredients—I simply discovered a way to combine them.

Over the years, this has become one of my favorite healthy salad recipes, especially during the fall when the leaves are turning and a long walk outdoors makes everything taste a little better.

Why I Love This Ginger Salad Dressing

A great salad dressing should do three things:

  • Add flavor
  • Complement fresh ingredients
  • Bring the entire salad together

The combination of organic ginger juice, lemon, balsamic vinegar, and maple syrup creates a dressing that is both bright and balanced.

The ginger adds warmth and character, while the maple syrup provides just enough sweetness to round everything out

My Favorite Salad Ingredients

For this salad, I typically start with:

  • Fresh spring mix
  • Slivered green peppers
  • Slivered red or purple onions
  • Fresh garlic
  • Chopped green onions
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Finely shredded cheese
  • Roasted pecans

Of course, one of the joys of making salads is customizing them to your own taste.

Use more of what you love and less of what you don't

Simple. Fresh. Delicious.

A Secret Ingredient Tip

Here's a little trick I've learned over the years.

Before adding green peppers to the salad, marinate the slivered peppers in a small amount of Jake's StrongGinger for 15–20 minutes.

The peppers absorb a subtle ginger flavor that adds an extra layer of complexity to the salad without overpowering the other ingredients.

It's a small step that makes a noticeable difference.

Why Organic Ginger Juice Works So Well

Many salad dressings rely heavily on oils or processed ingredients.

Using organic ginger juice creates a lighter dressing with bold flavor and natural brightness.

At Jake's StrongGinger, we make our ginger juice with:

  • USDA Organic Peruvian Ginger
  • Whole Organic Lemons
  • Purified Water

That's one reason it works so well in recipes beyond simply drinking it

Customers regularly use it in:

  • Salad dressings
  • Marinades
  • Smoothies
  • Mocktails
  • Sauces
  • Tea

It's one of the most versatile ingredients in our kitchen

The Perfect Finish to a Fall Day

My favorite time to enjoy this salad is after a long walk with my wife, Ann Marie.

There's something special about crunching through fallen leaves, enjoying fresh air, and then sitting down to a meal made with simple ingredients.

Life moves quickly.

Take the walk.

Enjoy the salad.

Hug the people you love.

Stay curious.

Keep exploring.

And never stop appreciating the remarkable world God has created around us.
